Liverpool’s failure to beat Aston Villa caused the biggest upset of Round 2, accounting for 54 fallers. Their Merseyside counterparts Everton were the second biggest casualty of the round, only managing a draw away to West Brom, which meant a further 7 people were eliminated from the competition. Defeats for Stoke (2 backers), Hull (2 backers) and Southampton’s failure (4 backers) to see off bottom club Sunderland meant 69 people in total were knocked out of the competition in Round 2.

The full list of Round 2 results can be seen below. If your name is highlighted in red at the bottom of the list then you have been eliminated, but don’t forget this is the final week that you can buy back into the competition, at a cost of £10.

This week sees a break from Premier League fixtures due to teams taking part in the fourth round of the FA Cup, which means Round 3 fixtures will not commence until Saturday 1st February.  A text or email will be sent to all remaining participants on Wednesday 29th January with the full set of fixtures for Round 3. Your selection must be returned by no later than 7pm on Friday 31st January.
