Newry City AFC are pleased to welcome The Eamonn Morgan Trust as our sponsor for our new Under 20 Development Squad. This team will play in the Championship Development League South and with the Eamonn Morgan Trust logo on the front of their jerseys will look forward to a successful first season. Speaking to Newry City AFC, Trust representative Declan Morgan commented “The Eamonn Morgan trust was set up in memory of Eamonn who was keen sports enthusiast and PE teacher. The trust aims to support local, young sports groups and individuals. The trust aims to encourage children and young people to engage with the community and to benefit from the advantages of sporting activity. The Eamonn Morgan trust to date have been fortunate to be able to provide support to many worthy causes and we are very happy to support Newry City with some funding for their underage team to assist with a purchase of a new strip. We wish the team all the very best for the upcoming season.”
